Data protection
I. General
(1) Below, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website.
(2) The term 'personal data' refers, with reference to the definition in Article 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the 'General Data Protection Regulation' or simply 'GDPR'), to all data that can be related to you personally. This includes, for example, name, address, email address, and user behavior. With regard to further terminology, particularly the terms 'processing', 'controller', 'processor', and 'consent', we refer to the statutory data protection definitions of Article 4 of the GDPR.
(3) For matters that have an impact in Switzerland, even if they are initiated outside of Switzerland, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, hereinafter referred to as 'DPA', also applies. However, we consistently use the terms of the GDPR here. The terms of the GDPR ‘personal data’, ‘processing’, ‘processor’, ‘special categories of data’, and ‘data portability’ also mean, as far as the DPA applies, the terms used in the DPA ‘personal data’, ‘processing’, ‘service provider’, ‘data transfer’, and ‘particularly sensitive personal data’ according to the DPA. The legal meaning of the terms is determined by the DPA in this case.
(4) We generally process personal data only to the extent necessary for providing a functional website as well as the content and services offered by us. The processing of personal data regularly takes place only if you have given us consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a) GDPR or the processing is permitted by statutory provisions, in particular by one of the legal bases mentioned in Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b) to lit. f) GDPR.
(5) Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may also occur if this is provided for by national or European regulations to which we are subject. In this case, blocking or deletion of the data will take place after the retention period prescribed in the respective regulations has expired. The latter does not apply if further storage of the data is necessary for the conclusion of a contract or for contract performance.
(6) To the extent that we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our website or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail about the respective processes below.

The collection of the aforementioned data for providing our website is essential for the operation of our website.
VI. Right of objection and possibility of removal
As far as the data processing is based on your consent or our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing or to withdraw your consent at any time. You can always contact datenschutz@liveye.de to exercise your right to object or withdraw. If you object to processing based on our legitimate interest, we may continue the processing, except in the case of direct marketing, if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms.
VII. Recipients of data and data transfers
The processing of your personal data on the website is also partially carried out by processors, particularly the hosting of the website and the use of analysis tools. These are included solely based on a contract for processing in accordance with Art. 28 (3) GDPR. (4) The processing of the aforementioned personal data is solely for the purpose of handling your inquiries.
(5) The processing of further personal data, which may arise from the use of the contact form available on our website, serves to prevent misuse and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
(6) This also represents our legitimate interest in processing your personal data. To the extent that you have given us consent for this, the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Otherwise, the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. If you wish to initiate a contract by contacting us, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR provides an additional legal basis.
(7) The data will be deleted subject to legal retention periods as soon as we have completed processing your request. In the case of contacting us by email, you can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. We would like to point out that in this case, your request cannot be processed further. You can declare your revocation or objection by sending an email to the email address provided in the imprint.
IX. Newsletter and promotional emails
If you give us your consent, we may contact you for advertising purposes via email. To ensure a consensual newsletter dispatch, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. In this process, the potential recipient can be added to a distribution list. Subsequently, the user receives a confirmation email providing the opportunity to legally confirm the subscription. Only upon confirmation will the address be actively included in the distribution list. The data will be processed exclusively for the dispatch of the requested information and offers.
Even without explicit registration, we may use your email address to inform you about similar offers and products or updates in our online shop based on your previous orders.
For the mailing dispatch, we use service providers that we have engaged as processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
You have the option to object to the receipt of the newsletter or other product information at any time, with effect for the future, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. We will also inform you about the possibility of cancellation in the individual emails.

You have the option to save your plans in the planning tool at app.nestorsecurity.com. To do this, you must first register a user account. We need the following information: company, first and last name, email address, and a password. For later logins, you only need to provide your email address and password. If you book or purchase a service through the user account, you will need to provide various other data that is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract entered into. The legal basis for processing this data is the necessity for fulfilling the user relationship or any contractual relationship that may have been entered into. The storage duration is generally based on the length of the contractual relationship. After its end, however, alternative legal bases may come into play, such as statutory storage periods.
XI. Payment Processing
The processing of our payment transactions is carried out through Shopify. Your payment data is collected by us and transmitted to Shopify for further processing. This also takes place exclusively for payment processing and is based on the legal basis of contract fulfillment. The processing of your data by Shopify is subject to their privacy policy, available at https://www.shopify.com/de/legal/datenschutz.
XII. Cloudflare
We use the service on our website.
Technically, the data traffic between the browser of your end device and our website is routed through the provider's network. The provider may cache, log, and analyze the data traffic to detect and defend against attacks on our website, for example. According to the provider, the nearest data center is regularly used for this purpose, but data centers outside the European Union may also be used, e.g. in the USA. The cached data is generally deleted within a few hours, but at the latest after three days. Additionally, with your consent, the service may store cookies on your computer for optimization and analysis purposes.
We use the service to optimize the display of the pages of our website, particularly to increase the loading speed of the page content. This allows us to improve our offerings as well as the user experience for you. Furthermore, the use of the service serves the purpose of ensuring the error-free functionality of our website and protecting our online presence from attacks such as DDoS attacks.
The service transmits personal data to the USA. The EU Commission has decided that this country provides an adequate level of data protection (TADPF). The service has submitted to the TADPF.

XIII. Processing of personal data through cookies
(1) We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the storage medium of your device, for example on a hard drive, and through which specific information flows to us as the entity setting the cookie. Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your device. This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below.
(2) Cookies stored on your web browser:
Persistent cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted after a predetermined duration, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time in your web browser settings.
(3) The processing of personal data by the aforementioned cookies serves to make the overall offering of our website more user-friendly and effective for you. Some features of our website cannot be offered without the use of these cookies. In particular, some features of our website require that your web browser can still be identified after a page change. If you have an account, we use cookies to identify you for subsequent visits. This prevents you from having to log in again each time you visit our website. The data processed by cookies that are necessary for providing the functions of our website will not be used to create user profiles. If cookies are used for analysis purposes, they serve to improve the quality and user-friendliness of our website, its content, and functions. They allow us to track how the website, which functions, and how often they are used. This enables us to continuously optimize our offering.
(4) As far as cookies are not technically necessary, we only use them with your prior consent, which you can revoke at any time. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 1 TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
(5) The aforementioned cookies are stored on your device and transmitted to our server. You can therefore configure the processing of data and information through cookies yourself. You can make corresponding configurations in your web browser settings that allow you to reject third-party cookies or cookies altogether. In this context, we would like to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of our website properly then. Furthermore, we recommend regularly manually deleting cookies as well as your browser history.
Hosting and provision of the website via Framer
Our website is created and hosted by the provider Framer B.V., Singel 542, 1017 AZ Amsterdam, Netherlands ("Framer").
Framer is a European platform for designing and publishing websites. When you access our pages, connection data is automatically exchanged between your browser and Framer's servers (e.g. IP address, date and time of the page access, browser type, operating system).
The use of Framer is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a modern, secure, and efficient provision of our online presence).
If consent is requested (e.g. for storing cookies or accessing information on the device), processing is carried out exclusively based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Framer processes data within the European Union. However, it cannot be ruled out that subcontractors (e.g. Cloudflare or AWS) may be used in third countries. In these cases, the transfer takes place based on Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission according to Art. 46 GDPR, in order to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) was concluded with Framer in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures the security and confidentiality of the processed personal data.
Further information can be found in Framer's privacy policy: https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy
2. Technically required cookies
Technically necessary cookies are used to provide you with additional functionalities or a more convenient use of the website, for example, by saving your country or language settings. These technically necessary cookies are usually deleted automatically when you close your browser (session cookies); in other cases, they are deleted only after a longer period (persistent cookies). The storage duration can be viewed in your browser. The legal basis is § 25 Abs. 1 TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
Google Maps
We use the service on our website.
This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function comfortably. By visiting our website, the provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. Your IP address will be transmitted during this process. This occurs regardless of whether the provider offers a user account you are logged into or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in with the provider, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not wish for the assignment to your profile with the provider, you must log out in advance. The provider stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for advertising purposes, market research, and/or needs-based design of the website. Such evaluation takes place especially (even for non-logged-in users) for the purpose of delivering targeted advertising and informing other users about your activities on our website.
We use the service for optimization purposes, particularly to improve your experience on our website and make its design more user-friendly.
The service transmits personal data to the USA. The European Commission has decided that this country provides an adequate level of data protection (TADPF). The service has submitted to the TADPF.

We use the service on our website.
The service allows us to attract attention to our offerings on external websites using advertising materials. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising materials are delivered by the provider via so-called "AdServers". We use so-called AdServer cookies for this purpose, which allow certain parameters for success measurement, such as ad impressions or clicks by users, to be measured. If you arrive at our website via a corresponding advertisement, a cookie is stored on your PC by the service. These cookies are not intended to identify you personally. Typically, the following information is stored as analysis values for this cookie: Unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions), opt-out information (marking that the user does not wish to be addressed anymore). These cookies enable the provider to recognize your web browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, the provider and the website operator can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each website operator is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of other operators. We do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from the provider. Based on these evaluations, we can see which advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising materials, and we cannot identify users based on this information. Due to the marketing tools employed, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the provider's server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by the provider through the use of the service. To our knowledge, the provider receives information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you have a user account with the provider and are registered, the provider can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with the provider or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider could find out and store your IP address.
We use the service for marketing and optimization purposes, particularly to display relevant and interesting advertisements for you and to improve our offerings, making them more appealing to you as a user and avoiding intrusive ads.
